ReconKit — Terms of Use

Last updated: 4 June 2026

By using ReconKit ("the app") you agree to these terms.

1. Authorized use only

ReconKit performs reconnaissance against domains and hosts you specify (DNS, WHOIS, TLS, HTTP headers, lightweight TCP port checks, and lookups against public threat-intelligence sources).

You must only scan domains and systems that you own or are explicitly authorized to assess. Using ReconKit to probe systems without authorization may violate the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the UK Computer Misuse Act, and similar laws in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have permission. The developer is not liable for misuse.

2. Third-party data and your API keys

ReconKit retrieves data from third-party services (see the Privacy Policy for the full list). Your use of those services is subject to their terms:

3. No warranty

ReconKit is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Reconnaissance results may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate (third-party sources can be rate-limited or unavailable). Do not rely on ReconKit as your sole source of security assurance.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including from actions you take based on its results or from your scanning of any system.
